As you can see, Ultranationalist slant is self-evident.
Best of all, "NBP-March" ("NBP-Pokhodnaya") song was making a come-back.
That is absolutely great, since it marks return of NBP towards its original Ultranationalist style (NBP got a bit too "leftist" during early phase of Chintz Riot, which is bad sign).
Here's original Russian version of NBP march:
Quote:

The songs are always hard to translate, due to rhymes and stuff. So, I made only approximate translation:
Quote:
We shall install climate of Order, Discipline and Subordination across the country.
Russia is everything, the rest is nothing!
Shaved heads, plain black clothes -
Young wolfhounds are marching forth.
Nationalist is marching with grace
He is a pinnacle of Russian race.
Sneaky Yanks, tricky Japs and Fritzs
Plot against us with their insidious tricks.
But from Kurils to Baltic trail -
Russian Nation shall prevail!
Shaved heads, plain black clothes -
Young wolfhounds are marching forth.
Nationalist is marching with grace
He is a pinnacle of Russian race.
Solid boots and strong teeth -
You can't be Nationalist without these.
Who aren't with us, are against us -
Remember that, Berlin and Kavkaz!
Shaved heads, plain black clothes -
Young wolfhounds are marching forth.
Nationalist is marching with grace
He is a pinnacle of Russian race.
We swear to shadows of Slavic Gods
To capture Kishinyov against all odds.
Kiev shall be Russian, Lvov will be next,
Then Sevastopol and everything rest.
Shaved heads, plain black clothes -
Young wolfhounds are marching forth.
Nationalist is marching with grace
He is a pinnacle of Russian race.
Well, Day of Russian Nation played absolutely positive role in shaping NBP public image, and helped to dispel image of "leftists" NazBols got after their joint marches with "Yabloko" and other liberal parties.
New "Limonka" issue included several articles on national question. Debate was simple: empire or nation-state? Velvet revolution: good or bad? And so on.
Debate is very interesting, and for those who can read Russian (or can use Russian online translators), I recommend to check out "Limonka" issue:
nbp-info.ru/limonka_new/270/270_12.htm In his article "Revolution Uber Alles", Abel argued that pure Nationalism is not as important as it was before. However, almost nobody agreed with Abel. Besides, Abel is Jew by blood, so he is not an expert in that issue.
For example, in his article "Orange Scenario: Pro and Contra", Igor Boikov argued, that the only way to prevent liberals from gaining initiative during 2007-2008, is direct protest wave towards Nationalist cause, and NBP should play primary role here. He wrote: "True goal of Party - Russian Nation-State and historical revenge of Russian Nation."
In article "Age of National Revolutions", Andrei Dmitriev moved even farther, analyzing tendencies in modern world (and especially motivations of recent velvet revolutions in Ukraine, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan) and predicting coming of "New Middle Ages", age of isolated Nation-States and messianic empires. American semi-religious Messianism (which was compared to Roman messianism), Islam Fundamentalism and Arab Nationalism, and so on. Andrei argued against "imperial" understanding of Nationalism, pointing out that Tatar and Caucasian nationalism inside Russia is absolutely hostile force. He also compared Russia to post-WW1 Weimar Republic of Germany: "Russian Nation feels humiliated and insulted. Germans after failure in First World War probably felt the same. We can openly say about 'weimarization' of population, since revanchist worldview dominates public opinion."
For more info, check "Limonka" link:
nbp-info.ru/limonka_new/270/270_12.htm I absolutely agree with Boikov and Dmitriev.
The revolution of 2007-2008 is inevitable, and it can only have ULTRANATIONALIST slant. Liberalism, "rootless patriotism" and communism are already discredited.
Everything is ready.
First, public opinion is ready. I found interesting graph:
60% of Russian population is intolerable to dark-skinned foreigners (see graph above).
52% of Russian population support deportation of foreigners.
66% of Russian population supports slogan "Russia for Russians".
Taking in account, that only 82% of Russian population are ethnic Russians, that is pretty high number.
Absolutely all serious researchers agree, that Ultranationalism is ABSOLUTELY DOMINATING ideology in modern Russia, and its popularity INCREASES RADICALLY. Ordinary Russians are ready to accept new Ultranationalist regime.
Second, organizations are ready. In last 15 years, Russians managed to create multiple strong movements, strong organizations.
First is NBP, which is largest "street force". NBP has experience in capturing key buildings (ministries, administration offices, etc), infilitrating meetings and facilities (they even managed to infilitrate Central Hall of State Duma!), blocking the streets, and have all the experience they need for "street action".
Second is skinheads, which are not united and not controlled, but will unconditionally support National Revolution and are not afraid of getting their hands dirty.
Third is various "elitist" Ultranationalist parties, which focus on ideology and intellectuals. The biggest one is NDPR by Sevastyanov, which unites ultranationalist Russian intelligentsia.
Plus, there are lots of other organizations: Barkashov's "Russian National Unity" (Orthodox Fundamentalists, whose main strength is their reputation (they fought against Yeltsin with arms in 1993) and their access to heavy-duty firepower), Ivanov-Sukharevskiy's "People's National Party" (skinhead style organization, united by ideology of "Rusizm" ("Russianism"), whose main strength is stormtroopers), Pagan Slavonic communes (whose main strenght is Russian Pagan religion (Rodnoverie), which makes them the most radical and ultranationalist group of all), and so on.
In 30th April of 2005, there will be Second Meeting of Slavonic Communes, which will most likely lead to creation of UNITED Russian Pagan organization, finally uniting all Russian Pagans in single legitimate organization, and purging Russian Paganism of pseudo-Russian "shape-shifter" organisations (like KJaT and Inglings). For more info, check there:
ndpr.ru/messages/?mid=117 So, what we see today is rebirth of Russian movement. We finally learned to organize ourselves. Soon, the day will come and we, Russians, will be masters in our own country.
I usually focus on NBP too much, but NBP is not the only Ultranationalist organization, just the most active one.
Legendary RNU - "Russian National Unity" (Russian name: RNE - "Russkoye Natzionalnoye Edinstvo") is still alive, and recently their site RNE.ORG got new, upgraded design (focusing more on silver than on gold). They still suffer from "fuhrerism" and sectarianism, but they have reputation, and what is more important - they have some heavy-duty firepower.
Even though I disagree with RNU's accent on Orthodoxy, I still respect them, they are true Russians.
So far, RNU's policy after failure of "revolution-1993" was "wait for the next chance". RNU would never be able to make the revolution on their own, but they are more than able to join the revolution if it happens.
Here's some photos of RNU and their activities:
Here's RNU badges, dog-tags and medals:
