Anyways, periodically it seems that stupid posts, threads, and topics rise up in this forum. And I have no problem with locking them. Here are the grounds for which I will lock threads, and edit posts:
1. For being off topic. What is off-topic is solely based on my own judgement.
2. For being stupid, I don't want to have to read through topics which are stupid. I will lock all stupid topics instead of reading them for personal attacks or whatever. If I see the "favourite anthem of the USSR" or "Which Flag for the Canadian Topics" rise up again. I promise I will delete them, my god those were stupid.
3. Horrendous spelling and grammar. If you can't figure out to put what you write in Word first, just so you can get somewhat correct spelling and grammar, then you don't deserve to post in my forum.
4. Rating Users will not happen in my forum.
5. Racism, sexism, and personal attacks will all be edited.
6. Posts that don't add to the conversation will be edited. You can vote, but you don't need to just state what you voted for. If you are going to reply you should state what you voted for AND why. Then be prepared to defend yourself.
7. Posts that use more than one smiley per line will be deleted because we don't need those kinds of posts.
8. Watch your use of '!' and '?' because you only need one per sentence.
9. All caps or a lIkE tHiS will be deleted.
Making appeals to me:
Historically people have tended to make appeals by creating new topics in my forum. Or in other forums. I would prefer it if they did via PM. I offer my AIM and MSN sn's for all to contact me. I will listen, but this does not mean I will change my mind.
Or if you must, contact Siberian Fox and have him pull rank if you think you are that right.
Also: I will delete things if I forgot to state a reason here, so just because I haven't given a reason here, doesn't mean I won't delete it. This is basically just guidelines for all you to follow when making posts.
I also forgot to say. I tend to not lock polls that get a lot of replies. I've changed my mind on this policy, I just don't really care too much.
